Here is a picture of a skeleton of a four legged animal.
as shown in this picture.
If a force is applied to the spine
the spine can bend at the junction of the two planes.
Here is a comparison picture between the evolved four legged animal and the human body.
The human spine does consist of two separate planes like the changed spine of the four legged animal.
If a force is applied to the human spine,
it can bend at the junction of the two planes.
As you can see in this picture,
when the pelvis is tucked under, the spine lays all on one plane.
This picture shows the arms of the human skeleton holding the Brush Knee position.
One arm hangs straight along a diagonal to the rear,
while the other hand is bent at an angle with the hand held up in the air.
The next picture shows the same pose from the front.
The elbow of the raised arm is held close to the body as indicated by the arrow. The human arm held in this position resembles the way that the front legs of a four legged animal look.
This picture shows the human being with both arms held up so they resemble the front legs of a four legged animal.
The human being is then rotated so that the spine is parallel to the ground like the spine of a four legged animal.
The hands of the human being naturally fall on the ground like the front legs of a four legged animal.
When a Tai Chi practitioner tucks their tailbone under to make the spine one long piece which lays all on one plane,
and raises their arms up with the elbows in,
their body resembles the way the body of a four legged animal looks.
