This is the Yin Yang Symbol.
A previous blog entry compared a Yin Yang Symbol to the wave form of an electrical signal.The next picture shows the waveform of an electrical signal.
This picture shows the Yin Yang Symbol split along it’s internal boundary and pulled directly apart from each other.
The two Yin Yang halves were then rearranged as shown in the next picture.
The Yin Yang halves in the configuration above look similar to the waveform of the electric signal.
A line was drawn on the Yin Yang halves to emphasize the resemblance to the wave.
After going through all of that information, there was something about the wave shaped Yin Yang halves that seemed unfinished. As if there was still something to say about them. Here is the picture responsible for that feeling.
Wondering what it might be that is giving me the feeling there is something unfinished about the picture above, I notice there is a hole in the large end of each Yin Yang half. Aligning them seems to be a very obvious action to take. The next picture shows the lower Yin Yang half moved upwards until the hole in it is aligned with the hole in the upper Yin Yang half.
That helped me realize what it is that seems unfinished about the two Yin Yang halves in that particular configuration. Look what happens when a white dot is added to the black Yin Yang half,
and a a couple of black lines are added to the white Yin Yang half.
The picture now looks like a simple drawing of a bird.
I wonder if that is a coincidence?
