What a person sees usually depends on what they have been trained to see. When a human being grows up in a particular culture, that culture will train them that certain things have certain meanings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meaning of things is usually not absolute. Two human beings from two different human cultures might look at the same object and describe what their reaction is in entirely different ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

The picture below shows two swans facing each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWhen the shape of the neck of each swan is combined, another distinctive shape is formed as shown next.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIn western countries like Britain or the United States of America, that shape is commonly described as a heart shape.That shape is used whenever people in those countries want to communicate the image of a heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe next picture is of a symbol called the Yin Yang symbol.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe Yin Yang symbol is a symbol associated with Yin Yang Theory. According to Yin Yang Theory, everything in the universe can be described in terms of Yin and Yang. Yin is described as relatively soft, while Yang is described as relatively hard. Asian cultures invented the Yin Yang symbol, and not surprisingly, their cultures are heavily influenced by Yin Yang Theory.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Yin Yang symbol is supposed to represent Yin Yang Theory. According to Happeh Theory though, the Yin Yang Symbol can be thought of as a key to understanding how the bodies of most living creatures work.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Yin Yang symbol is a simple symbol. There are only two identically shaped halves, and each half has a hole in the center of the large end that is colored with the color of the other half of the Yin Yang symbol.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the next picture, the Yin Yang symbol has been split into two identical halves along the natural boundary within the Yin Yang symbol.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOne of the halves of the Yin Yang symbol it then flipped and both symbols are partially merged together.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe rearranged Yin Yang halves look similar to the heart symbol from western countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nSo when an Asian person saw this picture of two swans looking at each other<\/span><\/p>\n

\nInstead of seeing a heart shape like a human being from Britain or The United States of America might see,<\/span><\/p>\n

\na human being from an Asian culture might see two Yin Yang symbol halves<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Secret_Of_Yin_Yang_Symbol_002-YinYangHalvesSwansCompare\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\nAnd since the Yin Yang halves are symbols for a theory about how everything in the universe works, it would not be unreasonable to wonder; is the shape match between the halves of a Yin Yang symbol and the shape of the neck of a Swan just a coincidence?<\/span><\/p>\n

Or is the shape match between the neck of a Swan and a Yin Yang half some kind of insight into the construction and behavior of a Swan?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
